The battery is guaranteed for 2 years, and battery life is estimated at between 3 and 5 years (these are lithium batteries). There are just a few simple precautions to take to maintain battery life (see maintenance guide). 

When it comes to replacing hub parts, each component can be replaced independently (battery, motor, axle, etc.). For repairs, all we have to do is remove your wheel and treat it separately from the bike, and we'll give you a spare wheel so that your bike is never immobilized for very long.
